Scholarship Program Established in China

A U.S. private equity tycoon has announced the establishment of a $300 million endowed scholarship program in China for students from around the world.  Beginning in 2016 the endowment will allow 200 students each year to take part in a one-year master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, all expenses paid.  Read the full article here.

NSLI for Youth Scholarships

Dr. Zhining Chin shares a link to a possible future opportunity for XinXing students. The US Department of State through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) provides merit-based scholarships for eligible high school students to learn less commonly taught languages in summer, semester, and academic year international immersion programs.
