Longevity

What Is Longevity

April 26, 2014 is Longevity, an annual all-adult night of fun and fundraising for the BeiDouXing Cultural and Laoshi funds  — these funds provide financial support for the XinXing 6th and 8th grade Chinese cultural experiences and for educational costs incurred by XinXing teachers in order to meet state licensure requirements.  The support provided through the Cultural and Laoshi funds helps create a rich immersion experience for XinXing students and contributes to the long term success of the XinXing program.

Longevity is a great chance to join with other parents to support XinXing while enjoying dinner, bowling and bocce ball. There is the chance to bid on class projects, dinners, local events and other donated items in both a silent and live auction format.  The event is organized and run by BeiDouXing parent volunteers.

Volunteer   Longevity is possible only through the work of parent volunteers.  Watch for updates on volunteer needs or contact longevity0426@gmail.com.

Donate   The success of the silent and live auctions depends on the quality of items available.  If you, someone you know, or a business or employer is interested in donating items to the auction, please contact longevity0426@gmail.com.  All donations are greatly appreciated!

Sponsor  Longevity provides the opportunity for individuals, families, or businesses to donate and gain exposure to the Bei Dou Xing community through sponsorship.  Sponsorship can be a one-time monetary donation, or for the sponsorship of a specific portion of the event (bowling, entertainment, refreshments).  New sponsorship levels this year with incentives starting at a $100.00 donation.  Please spread the word to grandparents, uncles, aunts, employers, and your neighborhood businesses—anyone who would like to support our cutting-edge immersion program!  Interested sponsors should visit the Become-a-Sponsor page or contact  longevity0426@gmail.com for more information.
