“Just 2 Hours”: Help Bei Dou Xing continue to offer the activities and events that support and strengthen the Hopkins Chinese Immersion Program by volunteering at least two hours each year.

There are lots of ways to get involved: 

• Classroom Support:   Watch for emails from your grade-level room parent and the weekly parent updates throughout the year for opportunities to help out with classroom activities.
• Join one of the Bei Dou Xing Committees:  Fundraising , Communications, Community Building, or Room Parents.   Check out the Bei Dou Xing Committee Descriptions and the 2012-2013 volunteer list to learn more about committee activities and current open positions.
• Consider volunteering your time on the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) or one of the PAC working groups.
• Do you have a talent to Share?   BeiDouXing is always looking for community volunteers to provide Chinese cultural experiences.  Whether it be an introduction to Chinese calligraphy, cooking, dance or martial arts, etc.
